Okay. Let me start off by saying that I am so thankful to have people reading my blog. Now let me say that this post is something kind of sad. So, please bear with me here. Okay? One of my best friends is going through a very hard time right now and needs help. More help than I can give. So, I am making a post about it because this is something I can do to help. He was recently diagnosed with Severe Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy. With Proliferative Retinopathy, the “very small blood vessels grow from the surface of the retina.” (Kinshuck) The treatments that they are looking at to help him with this isn’t easily covered by insurance. They include: Laser Surgery, Eylea injections every 28 days (It is not known how many he will need). His family and I are asking for donations to assist in the costs of the treatment. His vision in his left eye is 20/400 which is beyond legally blind. His eye pressure was 28 which is very high, and they are now checking to make sure he isn’t starting to get glaucoma. His doctors for his eyes are putting their heads together to find out what more they can do. All I ask is to donate a dollar or whatever you can. He needs all the help that he can get. Please and thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this post. Have a good day and a good night.
His GoFundMe Page is set up. Every little bit counts. Thank you again for taking the time to read this.
